I found this site by chance and thought it was interesting and brought back memories of playing there in 1955 for Schenectady New York. We didn't do so well but it was a great experience.

Played for Beechview Legion (Pittsburgh) 1959 tournament. On that team was an individual who went on to become an All American at Pitt and played in the NFL for the Steelers and Broncos, Paul Martha.

The Baltimore entry continuously seems to always be a class organization.

It is always a pleasure being at the AAABA in Johnstown, looking forward to the 2012 tournament. i miss the Washington & Detroit entries. Congratulations to our team from Baltimore and to all the players coaches & families of all the teams that make the AAABA one of the best tournaments in the Country.

I had the pleasure of playing in this great tournament in 1970 with the Toronto Nationals and my memories of the great hosts and wonerful people of Johnstown will last me a lifetime . The city of Johnstown has and will always have a special place in my heart.
